La población del distrito de San Cristóbal con su capital Puerto Rico, en la provincia de Picota, está muy preocupada y desesperada no es para menos, todos los años sobre todo en esta época sus moradores pierden sus viviendas debido a la fuerte erosión que provoca la creciente del río Huallaga y este año no es la excepción.
Este mes, con el comienzo del invierno en la selva, la angustia y desesperación volvió a rondar en varias familias de Puerto Rico, sobre todo de aquellas asentadas en el barrio Ampliación.
Doña Juanita Caballero, nos recuerda como era Puerto Rico antes y sobre todo cuál era el cauce del río.
