La obra mejoramiento del Sistema de Alcantarillado sanitario de los jirones Malecón Cumbaza, Manco Cápac, prolongación Av. Perú y Carretera a San Antonio de Cumbaza, del distrito de Morales, viene siendo duramente criticada por quienes deberían estar satisfechos con la ejecución de los trabajos.
Insatisfacción que parte de una aceptable observación de los vecinos del sector los Andes y del jirón Malecón Cumbaza pues su disconformidad parte de la exagerada deforestación que la empresa responsable de los trabajos hizo para poder construir los buzones y colocar los tubos de desagüe que han debilitado los taludes que protegían a esta zona. Sin que exista proyecto, peor aún presupuesto para la ejecución de una obra paralela que evite poner en riesgo no solo la integridad de los moradores del sector sino la de una obra aun no culminada.
