La ciudad de Lamas está de luto, ayer y hoy las banderas se mantenían izadas a media asta y es que uno de sus hijos ilustres murió de una manera trágica e inesperada, el obstetra Grother Hildago Torres, de 52 años de edad, falleció en un accidente de tránsito en la carretera Fernando Belaúnde Terry, cerca al sector Maronilla.
Tras el hecho de sangre que se registró a las 9:20 del pasado jueves fue conducido por un transportista hacia el centro de Salud de Morales a donde lamentablemente llegó cadáver.
Grother Hidalgo fue obstetra de profesión egresado una de las primeras promociones de la UNSM, antes de su muerte trabajaba en el hospital de Lamas, institución en la que inclusive fue Director, es por ello que sus compañeros de trabajo le rindieron un merecido homenaje póstumo.
