Contraloría detecta presunta irregularidad en planta de oxígeno

Este programa desde hace cuatro años ha venido investigando hechos irregulares en la implementación y puesta en marcha de los hospitales que forman parte de la red hospitalaria de San Martín, entre muchos temas pusimos a la vista del ojo público el mantenimiento de la planta generadora de oxígeno medicinal del Hospital II-2 Tarapoto.
Con documentos demostramos en su momento, que una planta generadora de oxígeno por el que el gobierno regional pagó más de 2 millones de soles, se encontraba inoperativa. Lo que originaba la compra de grandes cantidades de balones de oxígeno con los precios más altos del mercado a empresas favoritas en el hospital.
Hoy, mediante Informe de Control Especifico n°001-2021 específicamente a la “contratación del servicio para el mantenimiento de la planta generadora de oxígeno medicinal de la Unidad Ejecutora n°404 Hospital II-2 Tarapoto”, la Contraloría regional San Martín ha determinado, la pasividad de la administración del Hospital II-2 Tarapoto e irregularidades en el proceso de contratación del servicio para el mantenimiento de la planta generadora de oxígeno medicinal.
La Contraloría señala que se, impidió se contrate de manera efectiva y oportuna dicho servicio, conllevando a la inoperatividad de la misma; asimismo, el, irregular proceso de Contratación Directa n° 013-2020, que, generó un mayor gasto de 309 mil 936 soles con 23 céntimos, por la reparación de la planta durante la emergencia sanitaria por Covid-19.
Y, desembolsos de 2 millones 543 mil 550 soles, en desmedro del patrimonio de la entidad, por la compra de oxígeno medicinal durante el periodo de inoperatividad de la planta, afectando la transparencia, probidad y el correcto funcionamiento de la administración pública, así como, la calidad de vida y salud de los pacientes.…
