Han pasado un poco más de cuatro meses en que la población de Yurimaguas, San Martín y todo el país, se conmocionó ante un horrendo crimen una menor de tan solo 12 años fue ultrajada y luego asesinada en su propia casa, y a tan solo unos metros del dormitorio de sus padres.
Tras un rápido proceso de investigación policial el padre de la menor Richard Sandoval Leandro, era sindicado por las autoridades judiciales como el primer sospechoso, muchas eran los elementos de convicción que hacían pensar en su culpabilidad por lo que en aquel entonces el Poder Judicial de la provincia de Alto Amazonas, dispuso prisión preventiva de nueve meses en consecuencia fue encarcelado en el penal de Yurimaguas.
Ha pasado tanto tiempo, y mucha agua corrió bajo el puente y hasta hoy no hay nada concreto, que es saber la verdad de este cruento asesinato, y lamentablemente de acuerdo a como va pasando el tiempo el padre de la menor que es el único sospechoso está a punto de recabar su libertad y lo que es peor este caso es manejado por las autoridades judiciales de Yurimaguas con total hermetismo que hace pensar muchas cosas generando además una total desinformación.
Enfoques y un grupo de Periodistas de Yurimaguas intentamos entrevistar a la Fiscal Yesenia del Mar Vega para saber cómo va el avance de esta investigación sin embargo no fue posible dialogar con ella simplemente se nos hizo avisar por intermedio del vigilante que no nos atendería.
