Edwin García Pérez, es tal vez el burgomaestre que más acusaciones ha tenido en su contra por parte de quienes consideran que su gestión como alcalde distrital ha sido totalmente cuestionada.
Recuerde usted que anteriormente dirigentes de todas las comunidades anexas al distrito de Santa Rosa, jurisdicción de la provincia de El Dorado, habían lanzado su voz de protesta porque el referido alcalde, había hecho numerosas inversiones en poblados y sectores que nada tenían que ver con su jurisdicción. Dejando a los poblados de su distrito en un aparente abandono.
Hoy una nueva queja le recae a este alcalde, esta vez de pobladores de comunidades anexas al CPM San Juan de Talliquihui, jurisdicción del distrito de Santa Rosa, quienes afirman que, durante la gestión de don Edwin García Pérez, se ha construido un proyecto que en el papel es para abastecer de agua potable a la población de la localidad Los Ángeles.
Sin embargo, en la realidad el agua es no potabilizada, es más bien agua entubada, no existe ningún tipo de tratamiento, el agua que esa población recibe no sería apta para el consumo humano. Además, el proyecto que costó más de 160 mil soles presenta una serie de presuntas irregularidades.
