Esta semana pobladores de varias comunidades, pertenecientes al distrito de Zapatero, jurisdicción de la provincia de Lamas, acompañados de su alcalde llegaron hasta el municipio de esa provincia, para mostrar su malestar y levantar su vos de protesta, exigiendo al alcalde provincial y a sus autoridades prioricen una obra que para ellos es de vital importancia. El mismo que se había visto estancado por el presunto mal accionar de funcionarios de confianza del alcalde Onésimo Huamán Daza. E incluso por presuntos intereses personales del burgomaestre.
Resulta que es el estado actual de la ruta empalme puente Nieves – Uchumullaca – Progreso – Las Flores de Mamonaquihua. Se encuentra en estas terribles condiciones. Una ruta vecinal de más de 10 kilómetros que se halla abandonada, e intransitable.
