El primero es Jardiel Paredes Del Águila, actual gerente de la Municipalidad provincial de San Martín, sobre quien pesa una investigación, por peculado doloso por apropiación.
Según documento de la procuraduría pública en delitos de corrupción de funcionarios, Jardiel Paredes Del Águila y Ronald Hítalo Sánchez Gamarra, gerente municipal y tesorero, respectivamente, de la Municipalidad distrital de Alto Biavo, provincia de Bellavista, se habrían apropiado de dinero, destinado a la donación por aniversario de la I.E 00772 “José Faustino Sánchez Carrión” del Centro Poblado Barranca.
