Una triste noticia llegaba a nuestra sala de redacción; cerca de las doce del mediodía de hoy sábado 12 de mayo, se nos comunicaba del fallecimiento de Artemio Flores Flores. El comunicador social acababa de fallecer víctima de un tromboembolismo, coágulos de sangre, que afectaron a sus pulmones hasta ocasionarle la muerte. Así como lo confirma el director del hospital especializado de Tarapoto, Dr. IGOR NACCHA TAPIA.
Es decir una afección grave que no se diagnostica con frecuencia, pero que se puede prevenir. Es importante saber sobre el tromboembolismo venoso porque puede afectar a cualquier persona, a cualquier edad y ocasionar una enfermedad grave, una discapacidad y, en algunos casos, la muerte.
El comunicador social, había estado en reposo y en cuidados, luego de una delicada operación al cerebro, como parte del tratamiento que venía recibiendo en el hospital de Tarapoto, tras haber sido víctima de un accidente de tránsito el pasado lunes 12 de marzo, tras colisionar su motocicleta con este pesado camión.
Desde ese entonces Artemio Flores, luchó por su vida, entre altas y bajas en su estado de salud, pudo en un primer momento ir recuperándose lentamente, proceso que se vio tras ser dado de alta del hospital especializado de Tarapoto. Hasta este momento muchos creímos que el popular choche, seguiría su tratamiento en la calentura de su hogar.
Sin embargo un inesperado cuadro de hidrocefalia, volvía a poner en peligro su salud, esto motivo que fuera operado de emergencia para colocarle una válvula que haría drenar el agua que se había acumulado en su cerebro, esa operación se realizó con normalidad, justamente venía recuperándose cuando un inesperado cuadro de paro cardiaco lo había sorprendido.
Artemio Flores, trabajador del área de imagen institucional de la UNSM, era conocido por su trayectoria como hombre de prensa, fue uno de los primeros fundadores de la asociación de periodistas de San Martín. E incluso Artemio Flores perteneció al equipo de prensa de Enfoques.
Luchó hasta donde pudo, por esas paradojas de la vida falleció hoy 12 de mayo, justamente a dos meses del accidente ocurrido el pasado 12 de marzo. José Luis Rodríguez, presidente de la ASPESAM recuerda parte de la trayectoria periodista del popular choche.
