En estos últimos años San Martín, ha promovido una serie de ferias gastronómicas, cuyo objetivo principal es lograr el posicionamiento de la gastronomía amazónica, sin embargo los últimos acontecimientos, sobre todo el cuestionamiento a la feria sabor a selva realizado en Moyobamba, en donde se evidencian una serie de hechos desde una licitación fraccionada, contratar a una empresa sin cumplir los requisitos y un aparente favorecimiento que involucra a un trabajador del Gobierno Regional, ha puesto sobre el ojo de la tormenta la realización de estos eventos, y nos conlleva a preguntaros, se cumplen los objetivos, los publicitadas ruedas de negocios con el cierre de millonarios acuerdos comerciales son realmente verídicos?… o estas ferias son más bien una manera solapada de hacerse de dinero fácil, de quienes tienen a su cargo la organización y de quienes son los encargados de las licitaciones?
