En setiembre del 2014 se ejecuta esta obra que consistió en el mejoramiento del sistema de agua potable en el distrito de San Antonio de Cumbaza, obra que costó un poco más de un millón 300 mil soles; obra ejecutada por el Consorcio San Antonio, la misma que debía dotar de servicio de agua potable a los pobladores de ese distrito. Este proyecto muy esperado por esta población debía culminarse en el 2015; sin embargo, nunca se concluyó, pero curiosamente fue dada como ejecutada, incluso se firmó un acta de recepción sin que la observaciones y fallas se corrigieran.
