En tiempos de inclusión y apuesta por la educación, estas son las calamitosas condiciones en la que se encuentra esta institución educativa.
Un plantel cuya infraestructura es casi tercermundista. Inutilizable en más del 90 por ciento de su infraestructura.
Hoy estas aulas están siendo desalojadas, debido a que sus paredes y techos de concreto y madera, se caen a pedazos; se desmoronan, se desploman como castillo de arena, las mismas que ponen en riesgo evidente a quienes enseñan y estudian en estas calamitosas aulas.
Cuadra 14 del jirón 16 de octubre en Lamas, se ubica la institución educativa n° 0255, es la más antigua y cuenta con la población escolar más numerosa de los centros educativos de esa provincia. Un plantel donde maestros y estudiantes de los niveles de primaria y secundaria, exponen casi a diario sus vidas, en ambientes calamitosos, declarados en emergencia hace más de cuatro años, que son ocupadas por casi un centenar de niños y jóvenes estudiantes que podrían terminar aplastados por paredes y techos en pésimas condiciones.
