El martes, 26 de enero el exjefe del Gabinete Ministerial, César Villanueva Arévalo, es detenido por efectivos de la División de Alta Complejidad (DIVIAC) y la PRIMERA FISCALIA SUPREMA TRANSITORIA ESPECIALIZADA EN DELITOS COMETIDOS POR FUNCIONARIOS PUBLICOS, a cargo del Fiscal Supremo Eliseo FERNANDEZ, en mérito a la RESOLUCION Nro. 01 del 26NOV2019, expedida por el Juez Supremo, Hugo Núñez Julca, del Juzgado de Investigación Preparatoria de la Corte Suprema.
Fueron detenidos en el interior del restaurante LA CHOZA NAUTICA, ubicado en el distrito Los Olivos, Lima, 1. César Villanueva Arévalo (ex Presidente del Gobierno Regional de San Martín), como presunto instigador del delito de Tráfico de Influencias Agravado.
