Los milagros existen, claro que sí, y de esto pueden dar fe la familia, amigos y hasta los médicos del hospital de Tarapoto y es que Artemio flores Flores, conocido comunicador social de esta ciudad, prácticamente ha vuelto a la vida y es que los propios médicos le pronosticaban un 5% de probabilidad de vida, luego que el pasado lunes de 12 de marzo ingresara en estado de coma al hospital referencial regional de la ciudad de las Palmeras, luego de un aparatoso accidente de tránsito ocurrido en las intersecciones de los Jirones comandante Chirinos y San Martín, en partido alto, en donde lamentablemente Artemio resultó con un diagnóstico totalmente desfavorable, que hacía pensar en lo peor.
Artemio Flores fue diagnosticado, edema cerebral severo y múltiples contusiones con hemorragia Intercraneal, lo que ha conllevado a que sea sometido a una operación denominada Craneotomía Descompensiva, intervención quirúrgica de alto riesgo que duró más de 6 horas. Lo operación estuvo a cargo del Neurocirujano Jefferson Chávez, junto a médicos anestesiólogos y un equipo de enfermeros calificados.
Artemio Flores, estuvo varias semanas en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI), observado siempre por médicos especialistas, para luego de su operación pasar a hospitalización de Medicina, donde afrontó algunas secuelas post operación y donde superó una neumonía, gracias a su deseo de superación y ayuda del equipo médico y enfermeros del hospital referencial de la región, luego de 44 días hospitalizado, de las cuales varios días en estado de coma Artemio Flores Flores, recibió el alta médica y hoy goza del calor familiar, y a partir de la fecha podrá continuar con su proceso de recuperación desde la comodidad de su hogar.
