Alcalde de Papaplaya sentenciado a 12 años de prisión

La corrupción y a gran escala también se instaló en los municipios. Según un informe de la Procuraduría Anticorrupción, el (92%) de alcaldes del país están siendo investigados por peculado de uso, malversación de fondos, negociación incompatible y colusión.
Uno de estos casos y con sentencia es la del alcalde Gilberto Grandez Romaina, alcalde del distrito de Papaplaya provincia de San Martín.
Precisamente el Juzgado Penal Unipersonal de San Martín, ha emitido la resolución número 18 de fecha 14 de junio en la que falla en contra del alcalde del distrito de Papaplaya, Gilberto Grández Romaina, a 12 años de pena privativa de su libertad y al pago de una reparación civil de 50 mil soles, por delito contra la Administración Pública en su modalidad de peculado Doloso, además Colusión Agravada.
En la misma Resolución condenatoria se condena también a la persona de Juan Carlos Valles Inga a siete años de pena privativa de la libertad efectiva, por cómplice primario por el delito contra la Administración Pública en su figura de Colusión.
Valles Inga, es cuñado del alcalde de Papaplaya, y según el Juez le encontró responsabilidad por concertar de manera ilegal y clandestina para convertirse en proveedor de materiales de construcción para la obra de conexiones domiciliarias del agua y desague de Papaplaya.
El Juez del Tercer Juzgado Unipersonal determinó también la orden de captura a nivel nacional tanto a Gilberto Grández Romaina como a su cuñado Juan Carlos Valles Inga, y sean conducidos al penal de Sananguillo.
Luego que el Poder Judicial determinara orden de captura el Alcalde del distrito de Papaplaya Gilberto Grández Romaina, se encuentra como no habido, Enfoques se desplazó hasta Papaplaya y pudo corroborar que el alcalde no está desde hace buen tiempo en la comunidad.
