Ha transcurrido casi un año que la periodista Glenda Mello Pinedo, directora y conductora del programa televisivo Enfoques y del programa radial Actualidades de Mediodía, de Radio Tropical, ha venido enfrentando una denuncia por el delito contra el Honor personal en la figura de difamación agravada querella presentada por el expresidente del Congreso de la República, Víctor Isla Rojas, debido a que el 13 de junio del 2017 en el programa Enfoques se pasara unos audios en donde se revelaría una presunta asociación ilícita para delinquir, entre en aquel entonces alcalde de Tarapoto Walter Grundel Jiménez y por el otro lado una persona que se hacía pasar como “Víctor Isla”, audio que dura aproximadamente 26 minutos y habría sido grabado en el 2013.
