Sin embargo los problemas comenzaron después, la corrupción el gran cáncer de nuestro país trajo a bajo todas nuestras ilusiones, tan es así que el hospital de Moyobamba el primero que empezó a ejecutarse, comenzó costando 96 millones hoy cuesta 152 millones de soles, debió haberse inaugurado el año 2014 y hoy sigue teniendo problemas y no funciona al 100%, en el caso del centro de salud de Jerillo, se debió entregar en el año 2016, comenzó costando 22 millones y medio, y hasta hoy con los adicionales cuesta un poco más de 28 millones, el hospital de Tarapoto ni que decir hasta ahora con problemas, al igual que de Tocache, y los demás en proceso de recepción sin cumplir las especificaciones técnicas por necesidad pública.
