Miércoles siete de agosto, desde las siete de la mañana, la Fiscalía Anticorrupción de Tarapoto con intervención de la Policía Nacional, ejecutó el allanamiento de las oficinas de la Municipalidad Provincial de Lamas, con el objetivo de salvaguardar información, en el marco de la investigación iniciada por presuntos pagos de obras con documentación regularizada e información falsa, y hasta la existencia de presuntos trabajadores fantasmas en la actual gestión municipal que encabeza Onésimo Huamán Daza.
De acuerdo a la investigación conducida por el fiscal Tomy Arce Torres, existen denuncias que vinculan al actual alcalde, al administrador municipal, al gerente de infraestructura, a la tesorera, al jefe de logística, al jefe de obras, al inspector y al supervisor de obra, con los presuntos delitos de peculado doloso agravado, malversación de fondos, falsedad genérica y organización de banda criminal.
Indicios que partieron de documentos presentados por la regidora Ivonne Saavedra como parte de la denuncia que hiciera semanas antes, por presuntos actos de corrupción
